Children with special needs are often overlooked in society. This is especially true in developing countries where resources are already so scarce. We’ve seen this first hand through our work in Ethiopia.
But we want to change that…
Our goal at Haddis Ministries is to see every child cared for holistically so that they may enjoy the highest quality of life and reach their full potential regardless of any medical, intellectual, physical needs or disabilities they may have.
The name “Desta Academy” means “joy” in Amharic and you couldn’t squeeze more joy into this classroom if you tried! We’re so thankful for the opportunity that these students now have to learn in a vibrant, nurturing environment.
